Mike - I had an HG-303 xmtr a couple of years ago thinking I would put it on the
air a lot. Very compact, and looked like new.
I ended up selling it because it was too finicky for me to
adjust or something. I think it looked extremely ugly in
some ways. The front panel lettering looked hand done
and kind of cheesy (to me) - I am sure it would be an object of beauty to anyone
who RAN one back in their novice days.
Heck it worked OK and was very very compact. They crammed a
lot of xmtr into that cabinet. It was the only one I had ever seen, although I
remembered the ads for it. I think that they only sold them for a short while, and
maybe were too late for selling many,
as times were changing.
I still have a copy of the manual here I think.
It would probably be a pretty easy rig to duplicate.
