My first transmitter was the AC-1 as well.  Great rig.  Changing coils 
and crustals, etc.  Great.  I still have mine.  But if you still have 
yours can you tell me what the two tubes were?  Mine sockets are not 
marked and quite honestly I have forgotten which tubes were required.
