[NLRS] Minnesota QSO Party

 Bruce,
If one is an MWA member we would certainly encourage submitting the scores to 3830 with credit given to Minnesota Wireless. The MWA is looking to have another great season in the State QSO party challenge and how the logs are submitting to 3830 is how the Q's are credited to the club.
Years gone by we used to give other clubs credit as the MWA can't win its own contest. But we sure want all the Q's we make to go to our Challenge tally!
Hope to work you two a few times on Saturday!

By the way, feel free to list your club as Northern Lights Radio Society.  Sure, even if you are in the MWA, it is ok to list another club for this one.

Janice and I will be out in the western part of the state using my callsign but name “Jan”.  Our mobile info plans are on the MNQP website about the mobiles.

The Minnesota QSO Party is next Saturday, Feb 7th, running from 1400 through 2359 UTC (8 AM through 5:59 PM CST).   You can work stations once per band & mode.  MN mobiles and rovers may be worked once per band & mode from each county.  The contest exchange is simple; Minnesota stations give their first name and their Minnesota county, for example "Jon in Hennepin" while non-Minnesota stations send back to you their first name and their state/province or DX.

Full rules and information can be found at https://www.w0aa.org/mn-qso-party/

Note that Minnesota stations run 100 watts or less, thus allowing for lots of room to call CQ, 10 through 160m, CW and Phone.  Yes, there is no FT8 as FT8 does not support the contest exchange format.

If the weather is "good", I plan to operate as a Rover from seven counties on PH and CW, 80m through 15m.  Sorry, no 75m.
