Very sad news and thank you Donn for letting everyone know.
Although I am not much of a contester and don't operate nearly as much
as I'd like to, I have always greatly appreciated all of the folks like
Mel and others who are so dedicated to the hobby.
He will be missed along with the other local greats 'AUS, 'FQA, 'LER
and 'TLE to name a few. Hope they are all enjoying awesome openings
on all the bands 2m and up in eternity.
