Hello NLRS'ers:

September is my favorite VHF contest. Last year, we had a good year and stayed busy with contacts on SSB and CW (we were in western MN). This year, we are roving east of NLRS-land and hope we can give you some needed QSO points and grids rom Wisconsin and you can give us some needed activity 😊 . (Several prominent stations are off the air for this contest. That leaves time for dead air......or working you!)

We will be at the "Wausau" grid corner on Saturday, which will get you EN44/54/55/45. We'll be on 6m through 1296 (+10G). Sunday, we will be at the "Dodgeville" grid corner, which will get you EN53/52/42/43.

The only thing is that we'll only be on the traditional SSB and CW modes. We hope you want the QSO and grid activity enough to tune down to that portion of the band. We have a schedule. We generally stay pretty close to our schedule. We will announce on 144.200 and then QSY to 144.240. We hope you will come find us there.

We will be chirping (w9fz-15) on APRS so you can watch us move at https://aprs.fi/#!call=a%2FW9FZ-15

Our cell is 651-491-1077 call us if you need to check on our availability.

Posting on spotter pages is difficult from the rover. However, we will surely appreciate it if you spot us.

Please log us with /R. We try to say "rover" or "slash R" on every QSO. Please log us as that.

Post your own plans and see our plans on the Rover tab of the W0UC Upper Midwest planning page: https://tinyurl.com/SeptVHF2023
