[NLRS] Belt loop hams

Hi all,

Last night a friend and i were talking a bit about what we call Belt 
loop hams.

These are the guys who run around mostly playing hobby cop.

Well i to cary around my hand held and i take it every whare i go.

Some times it's even on stage with me and if not it's not far away.

Well today i was really glad i had it.

After i got home from the ham fest i decided to go and see a friend who 
lives a cupple miles out of town.

That was fine and we had a nice time.

But on my way home i wasn't paying good attention and suddenly realised 
i didn't know whare i was at.

So after a little thinking i took my ht and then put my old 224.64  
repeater that is at my home and put it on continus transmit.

I then used it to derection find my way back home and once i knew whare 
i was i then ofcourse turnd the transmit off.

If i hadn't have had it maybe i could have done it with gps on my phone 
but i find it doesn't allways work very well for me.

But the hand held sure did work.

Being a blind man i have allways felt it was important to have some kind 
of comunications with me at all times.
