Mike, W0VTT <mgcizek at gmail.com> initially asked:

Yep, between Jon's and Zack's replies, you all figured it out.

There is NO NEED for a MODE: or CATEGORY-MODE: line to be added in the
Cabrillo header for the ARRL VHF Contests, just make the appropriate
selections for those additional questions (once they appear) about "Did you
operate in any of these single-op categories during the contest?" and "What
mode category are you entering?" are made.

IF you *need* the 'comfort' of putting a "CATEGORY-MODE:" line in your log,
I would suggest either "CATEGORY-MODE: ALL" or "CATEGORY-MODE: ANALOG-ONLY"
(note the hyphen rather than a space between ANALOG and ONLY). Again, such
is NOT necessary!

ALSO, remember to include ALL QSOs that you made with other stations during
the contest, even if they don't count for YOUR Category. In Mike's case,
I'm interpreting that he made 'digital (DG) mode' QSOs BUT only wants to
have his entry scored on his CW/SSB/AM/FM mode QSOs and, as I understand,
code in the log checking program HAS been updated to handle that.

Similarly, if a Limited Rover made contacts on BANDS other than the four
allowed for that category (50, 144, 222 and 432), those QSOs on OTHER Bands
*should* be included in the submitted log. The same applies for SO3B making
QSOs on bands other than 50, 144 and 432 during the contest and for SOFM
making QSOs on modes other than FM (or bands other than 50, 144, 222 and
432) during the contest. If such QSOs are NOT included in one log, they
would cause "NOT IN LOG" assessments in the other station's log.

73, JK
