NLRS and others,

I am very sad to have to report that my good friend and avid radio buddy
Dick Philstrom W0TLE passed away last Saturday 5/8/2021 after suffering
a sudden heart issue.

Dick, along with his best friend John Fox W0LER, got me interested in
ham radio while we were all working together at ETA Systems, building
supercomputers, in the 1980s.  I have been proud to call Dick my friend
for 37 yrs.

Dick loved the radio hobby and in spite of other health challenges over the
last few years, continued to pursue it as much as he could.  He was a big
FT8 fan lately.

Dick was a life member of CSVHF Society and also active in QCWA at
least so if folks can spread the word in those circles, it would be
greatly appreciated.

73 OM, we will miss you.
