[NLRS] Two-Meter Classic Sprint - Fort Wayne Radio Club - interesting approach to revitalizing 2-meter SSB/CW activity?

I'm actually intrigued by this.

I've been weighing making the investment to get on the VHF/UHF bands
again.  Activities like this, where it's not all computers
working computers, seems like a good idea.
