Hello . Yes , if your audio is too high it also causes your xmit signal to be very wide and to have several extra side bands making you not very popular - I suggest that you read the manual for WSJTX available where the program is located . Especially read on how to set your xmit levels using your xcvr ALC . Joe has the install and operational instructions really easy to follow . Good luck and 73s , Ron KA0RYT
