This popped up on https://spaceweather.com/ this morning. For some of us it may be an
interesting project (its aimed at ionospheric research, so mostly MF-HF propagation) or
"science geeks" although there may be VHF uses also.

Over-all (general public-type report)

Web site for the sponsoring organization:

This has a good YouTube presentation of the over-all project, its aims, and (more or less)
status as of early to mid-2020 (?). (It talks about 'prototypes' available in 'late'
2020.) (The presenter's "presence" is not to my liking - he just reads the slides -- but
we all have seen worse! Maybe he didn't have much choice.)

I know some of you (KC0P, W0ZQ? & ??) did some experimenting during the 2017 solar eclipse
along the lines of this investigation. They are looking for a significant number of
stations world-wide and have interest to date mostly in NA and Europe.

It might be fun.
