[NLRS] Spring Snow-bird Migration

Zoom meetings are becoming quite popular and the one's I have "attended"
have gone well.

Last week's Contest University was an unqualified success (2000+
registrants), as was the Northern California Contest Club meeting (at
least 80 attendees). Even before the COVID-19 lock down Radiosport
Manitoba was doing GoToMeeting sessions to supplement the in-person
meetings. These sessions often featured a remote program presenter.

The technology is there and all that is required is someone to
coordinate and implement the meetings.

BTW, I like the idea of the FT8 activity hours. I've been on quite a bit
and have had good success in adding DXCC ATNOs and 5BWAS states (KD0UNI
at Hatton, ND, on both 15 and 20 meters for example!). The XYL and I
have only a long-wire antenna so our activity would be limited to 6
meters until I can get our 2-meter long Yagi set up for portable operation.

I'll be closely watching to see what happens.

Jack, K0JP (EN19rn)/VE3RUA (EN29ss)
