I heard you a couple times Sunday late afternoon but I couldn't get you
to hear me using my dual band vertical that had a good SWR. The only
signals I copied during the contest. The two beams pointed east had a
high SWR on transmit and didn't let the receiver hear the trash signals
from the digital TV power supply on 144.198> I expect several inches of
snow in the past few days accompanied by occasional freezing drizzle
have upset the feeds of the 2m and 432 beams. I listened on 6m for SSB
and CW from 8 AM Sunday to about 8 PM central time and heard nothing
with a call sign, no beacons at all. The 6m tuner showed a good match
without having to adjust the tuner but it might be indicating that snow
and ice on that feed and ends of the long dipole are affected by snow
and ice. I'm not ready to go to FT8. I've been working CW for 65 years
without computers.
