[NLRS] Directive Systems Antennas

'Morning, Mike.

I will second Jon's endorsement... DS makes good antennas. Above 450, most people
consider them the gold standard.

At VHF, I think (personal opinion) that only M^2 Antennas are better. Also pricier. They
use the K1FO-design, which IS the gold standard for yagis in VHF/UHF.

All that said, and seeing your reply to Jon... Maybe I have a deal for you !

I have an M^2 2M12 that I have never used. Well, once... to measure it on the CSVHFS
range. Came within a 0.1 dB or so of spec. It IS a bit weather-beaten as its been stored
under the deck for years but should be fine other than that. If you are interested, I'll
give you a good price. ($325 new, as a kit. It is the K1FO design.) 19.5' boom, 12
elements.

In any case, nice to see you getting onto 2m !!
