It is amazing what China is turning out these days. Under $80
DELIVERED for a 0.5-470MHz sig gen. The first question is does it
*really* go down to -130dBm or is there too much leakage? And it would
have been MUCH better if the modulation frequency was 1KHz instead of
"about 800Hz". Other limitations are the max signal at -70dBm and FM
only, no AM modulation. You can somehow add a CTCSS-CDCSS option but I
don't see where to buy it.

Bottom line, better than nothing and still cheaper than most other
commercial sig-gens that can be purchased. But if you can get within
$50-$100 of this unit, the commercial model is probably a better
choice for flexibility and options. -70dBm is 70uv into 50 ohms. If
you need more RF out, you will need to add a high-gain amp, or maybe
two......
