I also need a signal generator that covers 100 KHz to at least VHF.
Possibly separate HF and VHF/UHF signal generators?
Looking for suggestions.

Subject: [NLRS] RF Signal generator desired
For decades when I needed a signal generator my trusty old Eico 324 would (and still is) pulled out of the closet and brought to life. In 2006 a added a AD9851 DDS based generator / PC software controlled that was GREAT -- Audio to over 100Mhz.
As time passed PC OSs came and went, I was busy with other things and before long I found the the PC/software for the DDS had passed on. This week I tried to find the software again and a machine that would run it and return the DDS to a viable generator. Evidentially all was in place, but it seems the DDS has issues ... no dependable control at all .... bummer ....
SO .. I am looking for a signal generator build project using a DDS. I have yet to mess with any of the Arduino based stuff. So I guess control would be either Arduino or PC, but it would be nice for the sig generator to be "stand alone". I DO NOT NEED anything special, but stability, reasonable freq precision and 1khz - 150MHz or there about is desired.
Anyone build one like that that they would recommend?
Thanks ... Bill K0AWU
