Just a brief note to mention that we've worked Barry, Wally and Bill from
the EN15lj I29 SD rest stop before. Maybe we could look up your way on
Saturday if you're anywhere north of Fargo on or near I29. I'm sure Bill
knows of operating locations with a good view to the south.

I have talked to Wally, W0PHD, about the possibility of going out with his
portable rig on August 17th. He indicated he would like to do that if some
activity can be generated.

At the suggestion of Barry, VE4MA, I just subscribed to the reflector and
would like to put out a query about possible activity on the 17th.
Barry did suggest I contact NT0V and K0AWU about prospects for their
operation and also indicated there was a possibility of getting another
VE4 on for that Saturday.

If anyone is interested in getting on please let me know ASAP so I can pass
the information on to Wally.

It has been more than 30 years since I last operated 10GHz (with Gunnplexers
and metal snow-coasters) so this will be a relearning experience for me. Who
better to be going out with than Wally?

73,

Jack, K0JP/VE3RUA
Karlstad, MN--EN18rn
Kenora, ON--EN29ss
