Greetings,
With the June VHF contest this weekend, I'd like to remind you that
while the contest runs from 1800z Saturday (1 PM CDT) to 0259z Monday
(9:59 PM Sunday CDT), there are three FM focus times to help
Bloomington Amateur Radio Association members find each other with
less effort.

Set your radio to 146.550 FM and 446.000 FM, and tune in at 4:00-4:30
PM Saturday, 8:00-8:30 AM Sunday, and 9:30-9:59 PM Sunday (immediately
following the BARA net on the 147.090 repeater).

Remember, too, that coordination via cell phone or internet is
allowed: you can call your friend and ask to try on such-and-such
frequency, but make sure all the information is exchanged properly
over the air.

Sample QSO:
[AE0EE]: CQ alpha echo zero echo echo, contest!
[K0SIX]: kilo zero sierra india x-ray
[AE0EE]: kilo zero sierra india x-ray, echo november three four
[K0SIX]: thanks, echo november three five
[AE0EE]: thanks, do you have 446?
[Move to 446.000 and repeat as necessary]
