Greetings,
The K0BBC/R effort has been downsized from DN75 and DN85 to EN15 and
EN14 on Saturday, with a possibility for EN24 Sunday morning. We'll
mainly be working 6 m (FT8, MSK144 if needed, 50.185 USB, and 50.088
CW), but will have at least a little gear for 2 m and 70 cm all-mode
as well as a 3-element beam for a 5 W Baofeng handheld on 222 FM.
I've heard rumor we have a 900 MHz FM handheld that will be coming
with us.
We'll be an APRS-enabled stop-and-shoot operation except for 146.550
and 446.000 FM, so it may take a while for set-up and tear-down. EN15
will be the first grid on the tour, and may not last very long if 6 m
isn't open. We'll then move south to EN14, where we hope to also be
able to establish an HF station to hand out a few grids for the ARRL
Grid Chase. If things are working well, we'll stay overnight
somewhere in western MN and hit EN24 on our way home Sunday morning,
otherwise we'll be back to the Cities late Saturday night.
We hope to hear you on the air!
Bill (AE0EE) and Matt (K0BBC)
