Having family company all weekend I didn't get on much. A few Qs around 10pm Sat was the only Saturday contacts and then off and on Sunday. The bands seemed pretty good. Fun sweep with Barry VE4MA 2m-1296, NT0V 6-432, K9MU 6-902, K2DRH 6-432 (all SSB except 6m CW) at 411miles it has been a while since we had done that without digital! Bob 432 sig was especially good. N0AKC back in the log, good to have you back, 6-432. He was 20db above the noise on 1296 but could not copy me. W0ZQ/R and N0KP/R provided 5 -10GHz contacts that were worked at 139-153miles THROUGH and OVER trees  & hills locally. I had 5+deg elevation in to obtain any path at all, all tropo. Signals "just strong enough" and chopped with QSB. VERY difficult path, amazed that we could work. At the peak signals 10db above the noise to < 4db. I also worked Bruce and Janice in EN52 on 2m at 330+ miles, great distance for a rovers! Thanks to all for the fun. My lowest score since 2001 for a Sept contest.
49 contacts, 33 band grids  3300pts total
