Wow!

Great participation last night. We had 25 check ins.

The record was 30 a couple of years ago.

Had W8SOL, N0SDM, K4XR and a couple more checked in we would have set a record.

I am still getting some confusion about the sequence of my covering the compass.

I start looking SW at 8 PM CST. Then S, Then SE, E, NE, N, NW, and West. It takes about one hour.  So by that you can sort of guess when I am looking your way. About 8:40 I look at NW. It all depends on activity.

The second thing is the ON4KST 144/432 Region 2 chat site. Some guys still don't use it to follow the net and call blindly when I have either passed their bearing or before. Everyone is used to me looking their way at a specific time. Therefore I don't stop and go back to pick up someone after I passed their bearing. I will go back after I complete the compass. Alert me on the chat site by typing in "/cq n4pz any message" It will light up my screen orange and make noise.
