[NLRS] Field Day MSK144 Exchange

I was thinking of doing the same format. Last year I worked several stations that gave the standard JT65 report on HF. Didn’t really know if they were participating in FD or not. I’m more interested in new grid squares than a FD score. If I get too many without the FD report I’ll submit it as a check log.

Subject: [NLRS] Field Day MSK144 Exchange

Greetings,
Several folks have asked about the Field Day exchange over MSK144,
so here's an answer for everyone.

My plan is to use the free message to send "[THEIR_CALL] 3A MN" during
the part when signal reports typically exchanged. I'll probably have
to turn auto-sequence off.
E.g:
[AE0EE]: CQ 255 AE0EE EN34
[K0SIX]: AE0EE K0SIX EN35
[AE0EE]: K0SIX 3A MN
[K0SIX]: AE0EE R3A MN
[AE0EE]: K0SIX RRR
[K0SIX]: AE0EE K0SIX 73
[AE0EE]: CQ 255 AE0EE EN34

That's my plan, we'll see how well it works. If it's too difficult,
we won't complete the FD exchange and won't log for FD points. I'd
rather get points, but the experience for our newer ops is more
important.

Regards,
  Bill
