After the problem at Chicken Ridge overlook with the tree covered ridge
in the way of the path to Buck Hill, I drove NW on Chicken Ridge Road
and at the first instersection about 3/4 mile from the highway I found a
clear view across the river valley without any trees in the way. And the
field NW of the corner dropped off from the road, so corn might not be a
problem.

The spot close to US20 were we worked the hill across a flat field did
work, but I had looked at another spot about 4 miles south with 100 feet
of drop off in a quarter mile and probably that much higher elevation.
Its only problem was that on a nerth south road, it was close to a house
guarded by an active dog.

Out of laziness I'd rather start at EN32FG and go east to Fredsville and
then west to start out and return to home. 300 miles less travel to
scout spots for me. Then NW from here on Sunday.

How about the LeSueur site used by Dave this month. It seemed to work
well for him, is there room there for the typical Buck Hill gang and
does it work SE and south?
