For those of you that may not be ARRL members or missed this, please use the
link to send the letter to our 2 senators. This is very easy and everything
is automatically filled in.

Subject: Amateur Radio Parity Act
Hello Dakota Division amateurs;
Thank you for your support of the Amateur Radio Parity Act which is
currently making its way through congress. As a refresher, it has
passed the House of Representatives earlier this year and now is on to
the Senate. The 114th session of Congress only has a few more weeks of
business until this session ends. I'm asking you once again to use the
ARRL's Rally Congress link to re-write your respective Senators
requesting their support for it's passage soon. Even if you have
previously written them, it's not only OK but suggested and requested
you do this again. The more input that we provide them the better
chances this non-partisan bill will pass the Senate for signature by
the President. If we're not successful this session, we'll be back at
square one starting over with the next congress, so this is extremely
time sensitive.
Here is all you need to do and it's very quick:
1. Go to the ARRL Rally Congress page at:
https://arrl.rallycongress.net/
2. Click the "Send Message" button
3. Fill in your complete contact information on the next page
4. Click the "Save and Preview" button near the bottom of the page
5. Preview the message on the next page
6. Click the "Send Messages" button to send the messages to your US
Senators
Simple!
This may not directly affect you, but it does affect lots of
amateurs
around the nation who live in restricted neighborhoods etc. Not being
able to erect an antenna due to restricted covenants continues to
plague amateur radio and it won't get better until this bill is passed.
There are lots of prospective hams who may not join our ranks or
current hams who drop out because they live in restricted situations.
I know you all want our great hobby to continue and this will
definitely make a difference. Please do it for the good of all amateur
radio!
Thank you for all you do for amateur radio and thank you for taking the
time to support H.R. 1301!
73!
