We (K0BBC, AE0EE, and I) had a great time. Since Matt and I both replaced
our vehicles this year, we had to start over with antenna mounting, etc.
Plan A (including truck mounted beams for 50, 144, 222, and 432) fell
through, we resorted to a more portable style operation using tripods on
the ground. We started the day Saturday by driving down to Iowa to see
W0GJ, where we had lunch and a tour of his impressive home and station.
Thanks Glenn!

Leaving from there, we worked our way back to the cities, activating five
grids and arriving home around 2AM.
Sunday afternoon, we headed out to the Winsted/Howard Lake corner and
activated three more grids.

It was great to have 6m open much of the time to various points east and
south.
Our only 222 action was one Q with Jon and one with Vince, both on FM using
a Baofeng HT while standing on the truck in EN35.

Totals:
Band QSO Pts Grid
50 204 204 72
144 14 14 10
222 2 4 2
432 6 12 6

Score 22,932

W0ZF/R
