[NLRS] rough score

I did work Mary on 2m, didn't try other bands. I heard stations working
her on 6m but I didn't hear her there.
I haven't counted any details yet, I filled 2.5 ARRL VU log forms, about
100 contacts total (39 per page), I estimate 10 contacts on 2 and 432,
and about 70 grids on 6m. So a rough score of about 7500 points. Not my
worst nor my best. With my 24' dipole on 6m I was frustrated a lot
taking many calls to make a contact, and I think I wrecked somthing in
one of my FT-857D causing low power output on 6m. I also heated up power
cables pointing out a need for a more robust connector at the radio end
(it has a short cable so changes will be easy) and more robust fuses. I
had some mysterious noises show up that sometimes were cured by a short
blast of transmitter RF but not always. I finally traced that noise to a
TV digital converter probably some times affected by 6m RF and sometimes
changing its emission according to the video received from IPTV. So I
know to turn those boxes off so long as the dipole is just above them. A
yagi at 70 feet would be a lot quieter and more effective at breaking
pile ups. I had quicker results on CW on 6m though there weren't as many
stations on CW as on SSB, but they heard my puny signal better.
