John,
Glad you and Jim are going out and getting your own dose of RF.

Concerning APRS -9 vs -15. Well, years ago, I thought I saw one
standard that had "dogs" tagged with -15. I had this vision where
someday people could view aprs.fi with a wildcard search for all "-15"s
and that would be the rovers that were out there roving.

Anyways, I went with the -15 to be different from all the normal cars
out there--at least during contests.

I'm not sure that people set up monitoring screens for just -15s, but if
the rovers had the same number, maybe they could. But I think are ways
to have specific tracks and searches set so a viewer can monitor movement.

If there ever is a rover standard, I'd go with it.

Yes, Janice and I are hoping to work you on E-skip during this one. I'm
panicking with set-up this afternoon.
