Thanks for posting this Bill.  It does not seem like they are making any real changes to the operation, however the comment about making it the most powerfull of 5 such installations is a bit concerning.  This radar operates at about 433 MHz and is basically pointed over our heads in Winnipeg.  When tropo conditions are up in the valley it can be a powerfull signal when I point over that way.   Unfortunately I point through it to talk to Dennis NT0V.

About 10 or 15 years ago I got an SWL report through the Governments, and was told that I should reduce power so as to avoid interference....or I might be forced to cease and desist.  They were complaining about interference from everything in the band ( FM, ATV, commercial stuff in the 420-430)...of course I had the highest ERP signal :-)
