Jon - Congratulations to the NLRS for their good showing in the June contest!

I had my best ever showing in the Rover Category here, sixth place nationally, unusual for Classic roving in the SW, aided by several good Es openings that much of the rest of the country missed out on, and also the lack of pack rover entries. W7QQ/r and I are getting on the microwave bands here which helps the QSO points a lot. The down side is that there isn’t much microwave activity here so we have to make our own. We did that in CO in September.

One of these days I will make it up there to rove in SD/MN/NE again. In the meantime I do enjoy those occasions when the band opens and we can catch you guys on 6M from down here. - Duffey KK6MC

Making the national top ten were W0UC (SOHP 6th place), W0ZQ/R (Rover 9th place), AC0RA/R (Limited Rover 1st place), and K0BBC/R (Rover Unlimited 6th place). First place finishes within the Dakota Division were W0OHU (S03B), WB0HHM (SOLP), W0GHZ (SOHP), N0EO (LM), W0ZQ/R (Rover), and K0BBC/R (Unlimited Rover).

Same with the rover guys; W0ZQ/R had the most 902 contacts, 22 Q's, running 15 watts to a 6' loop yagi. Don't forget some of these really fun bands in June.
