[NLRS] Need some info on N connectors

How much clearance is there between the outside of the shell and the
inside of the ridged brass? It might be a tight fit that merely pushing
the brass over a single layer of braid over the shell squashes the braid
and effectively makes a crimp. Like the BNC Amphenol FCP connector part
number 31-4700 and 31-4702. There is no Amphenol equivalent for N and
RG-8 sized cables.
Is there any identification on the connectors or the brass sleeve or the
package?
