Hello ALL
Happy Easter and hope you are all well. It has been an unusual winter "up north" and I have been enjoying working HF. I did work HI in Dec on 6m, that was cool, and the Jan VHF Contest wasn't too bad. AU2015 is now less than 3 weeks away. I hope that your plans include attending AU2015 April 25th in White Bear.
One of the ideas I had and wanted to run by those of you attending, I would like to see if there is any interest in us taking a look around the shack and/or junk box and bringing a "surplus" item to be included in a "prize" drawing OR if you would prefer to auction off. The auction receipts would then be used toward our obligations to the ARRL funds, Reflector costs etc.
I have had NO feedback of any kind, so not sure if there is any interest or support. I suggest this to kinda "lighten up" the technical presentation session and it should be "fun" too. With 5 presentations we should have a few min to work this in without getting things too rushed. If you are willing to bring an item, please let me know via email and indicated if it is a prize or auction item. If I get no responses I will know where we stand Hi Hi.
Hope you can encourage or bring a guest, remember a new attendee gets in free!
73 and hope to see you at AU2015 ... our current program follows with "working titles"
