A combination of poor conditions, poor activity and poor use of the 2m calling frequency lead to a very poor contest here.... again. At times the conditions were quite good, but those occasions seemed to be few and far between. Only two 6m Es stations were worked, Bill W3XO/5 and K5QE multi.

Highlights KA9VVQ/R operations .. never strong, but much needed Qs on Sunday!!! Thanks Janice/Bruce. Three band runs with VE4MA and VE3KRP. Eddie and I even chatted on 222 SSB, the best sigs I have heard from him in a long time. W7XU and N9CIQ were much welcomed bank in the 2m log. Jim KB0CIM showed up and his multiplier on 1296 and 222 plus 6,2,432 Qs alone boosted my score by 14%. I shows the importance of any one unique grid. Thanks Jim.

A cockpit error lead to a 902/1296 fright for about 30min Sunday morning before I realized (remembered) of the voltage source for the sequencer PTT for those bands was supplied by the 10GHz 12V supply. I had it off due to lack of 10GHz activity Sunday AM.

For the first time I can recall I really became fatigued by all the blower noise and white noise in the shack. I know my hearing is changing and the blowers really got to me this time. There was not enough activity to put on the headphones to mask the noise for anything other than short periods. Even then I like "open back" headphones, so of no help.

Thanks to those that got on, wish there had been more. Sure missed not catching W0ZQ, NT0V and several others. Results follow.. 73 Bill K0AWU
