    Good morning,

The 144.240 net is back ON tonight.

Emailing NLRS today because WB9LYH has been
able to make antenna repairs and he's good to go tonight.

Assuming thunderstorms stay away, the 144.240 Wed.
net will start @8pm central -- look toward EN54cl, or
near WI Rapids, right in the middle of WI.

WB9LYH's antenna pattern from EN54cl is to start NE,
then look E, SE, S, SW, W, NW and N over the next
45-60 minutes. All licensed amateurs are welcome and
the net is informal -- goal is to increase activity on 2m SSB.

Even if a net doesn't personally interest you, be open-
minded enough to realize that we *always* need more
stations on the SSB/CW side of bands like 50, 144, 222
and 432 MHz.
You can help by steering hams to where the activity is.
Many times, the difference between a ham staying inter-
ested in weak-signal V/UHF or losing him forever lies in
actually hearing signals come out of the radio.
The more hams that stay interested in V/UHF'ing, the
better the chances are that some of them will become
contesters.

    Thanks, 73,
