[NLRS] CSVHFS Registration

Hello NLRS land -

Both hotel and conference registration for the 2014 CSVHF Society conference is now open.  You can find all the needed information at http://www.csvhfs.org/2014conference/index.html  .   

This years conference is being held at the Austin Marriott South in Austin, Texas, July 24 - 27.   Central States is the premier VHF+ conference that this year features a Thursday night boat ride & dinner followed by a Friday morning antenna range, preamp measurements, rover row, vendor displays, two days of technical presentations, a multi-night hospitality suite, planned lunchon presentations, and a Saturday night banquet with guest speakers and prizes.  Whew.  For non-hams there is a full featured family program that looks outstanding (check out http://www.csvhfs.org/2014conference/family_thurs.html)  .   The website includes a link to "Visit True Austin" for additional information about the Austin area.

For those who are planning on attending this really fun event I strongly encourage you to stay at the conference hotel.  Steve Hicks, N5AC, our conference president, has negotiated a great rate for us and by staying at the conference hotel not only will you maximize your fun and exposure to the conference but you also help the Society as its your patronage that helps to cover the total conference cost which in turn allows us to hold such yearly meetings.  It is your support that allows us to do this.
