[NLRS] More treasures from the depths of my cluttered shack

While "separating the wheat from the chaff" in my cluttered ham shack (I
apologize for the Biblical reference to anyone who does not "get it"), I
found an E. F. Johnson Model 242-8615 commercial FM transceiver. It is
tuned to the 800 MHz business band, somewhere at or below 870 MHz. Many
years ago, when I obtained it, my plan was to try to modify it for use as a
transceiver for the 902-928 MHz Ham band. It would be FM only (or I suppose
someone smart could modify it for CW). Frequency changes required a
"programmer" device to set it up, which I do not have, and which would not
go above 870 MHz anyway, although the same or similar programmer would
configure a model 8655 radio for frequencies in the 902-928 MHz band. So it
seems it would be quite a challenge to move this radio to a useful
frequency. I do have a schematic and some photocopies of data sheets for
some of the IC's used in the beast, if someone wants it. No microphone, no
power cord. No idea if you can find any useful parts by ripping it apart.
If nothing else, there is a heat sink, a panel mount N Female connector,
and an RF power module that might (or might not) make some useful power at
902 MHz in FM or CW mode.

If anyone wants it, you are welcome to it. If someone wants it and plans to
come out to Buck Hill this weekend, you are especially welcome to it
because I could pass it to you easily. ;^)
