First time going out for the uhf contest so didn't really know what to
expect. Ended up not being to bad but was rather hard to scare up contacts
at times. I operated from 6 grids in Iowa and 6 grids in Illinois and the
majority or contacts were made from Iowa. Interestingly enough I only made
4 contacts with 2 stations in Iowa and only on 432. Also operated from 7
grids of which I didn't work anyone else.

On the way home after contest I stopped by k2drh qth and was fun to meet up
with him for the first time. Also found out me 902 and 1.2 antennas have
outrageous swr so time to tear rover apart for next contest I guess.

Plan to go out for September contest as limited rover but have no idea
where yet.
