That was Midwest REGION, and KP was in the Dakota DIVISION, but W0VAN 
took the Midwest DIVISION (Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, etc) with 18 points. 
That's maybe 1 contact per band over to K2DRH at the quad cities who 
took the nation again.

Or the transcriber couldn't read my hand written log entry.

So bad that I haven't turned on a rig for UHF contest since.
A couple years ago I won Iowa Section single band on 2m with about 150 
2m points, and about 15,000 6m points which was beat by others on 6m. 
Down here near the Boondocks VHF and up contesting locally can be 
difficult without the monster arrays up high at the opposite end of 
1-1/8" heliax.
