[NLRS] VHF during Field Day? What our your plans?

If the 2m and 70cm PAs have working preamps, it would be practical to
insert power attenuators for those band. The easiest attenuators would
be lengths of RG58 or RG174 coax. 7 dB loss needed which the preamp will
make up on receive. RG58 supplies about 6 db per 100 feet at 2m and
about 11 dB per hundred feet at 432.
Had you been at Aurora and bought my Mirage A1015-G you could set the
847 output to 10 watts and had power on all three bands. I'm now
thinking that if I get the three 4CX250Bs running from the W0PFP station
they won't need more than 10 watts drive so I might want to use the
A1015-G for ordinary operations in the 100 watt range.
