Also the pavilion has A/C and indoor bathrooms !
We also are using Yaesu 1000 radios a MK V and an MP they will be computer
interfaced ,using writelog and wireless networking.
The openings are 5-7am on Station 1 CW and 4-7AM on station 2 either SSB or
CW up to the op.
To me these are the best times to operate as its quieter in there and our
antennas usually play really good on 40M,
its really easy to get a BIG run going and hold the frequency. If there were
more hours in the day that is where I would be because
from home I am never BIG enough to get those kind of runs going and its
really a kick to do as a lot of you may know.

Field Day starts tomorrow and the Twin City FM Club has a few operator holes

to fill due to some last minute changes. We are operating 2A this year and

have 5 positions still open at 4, 5, and 6 am. We are in the shelter

building at Louisiana Oaks Park in St Louis Park in the NW corner on

Louisiana and Hwy 7 across from Park Tavern on Louisiana. Operate some

radio and watch the sun come up!!

So, If you are interested in a 3A/2A FD group. The TCFMC which came in 2nd

3A last year for FD and is looking for some help. We are a major contesting

3A/2A group and looking for some operators and help. I am trying to better

rebuild this club and need your help. I would like you to be a member but

it is not important to me right now. We came in 2nd nationwide 2012 under

3A. This is completive but also social so we are looking for operators and

support staff. Not this year but in the future I would like to add all the

high bands. So if you do not have plans I would love to plug you in. Below

is the info I sent out to our club. These are awesome project mangers and

contesters. I would love to put a connection between NLRS and

TCFMC..............
