No, I am not just doing what John does .... BUT .... same again. I too have been checking the array rotator several times a day and today about 2pm it slowly started to turn once again. After I rotated 100deg or so it
was turning normal when I reversed direction. Since I have
retried several time ... again slow at start but then slowly returns to normal rotation.

I replaced the starting cap this summer, but the rotator has not been
serviced for about 10yrs after the brake spring failed. I use a VERY LIGHTLY
applied lithium grease and have not normally had issues with grease.
Earlier this winter I was using the rotator with temps 15-20deg lower
with no real issues.

Will have to wait and see, but I have some hope over the post earlier this week.
