[NLRS] Search for MGF1302

Franco Rota's web page
http://www.rfmicrowave.it/catalogue_file.php?file=C.pdf&action=v&lang=eng&pos=2
shows some 1302 and suggested replacements. He reommends the MGF4919
also. Here are some of the collected posts on the 1302. I recall one
post saying the MGF9302 was the same device in a different package. And
the original poster pointed out he need long leads to go through the PCB
board for the source connections. There are a few of each on epay at the
moment, not necessarily at great prices though. And I'm sure shipping
and paying in Euro won't be too cheap either. I may have had one that I
removed from my 10G transverter. It was either biased wrong or nearly
shorted. Seems like the resistance checks changed after I did them a few
times so I expect I destroyed it. I know the MGA86576 performs beter
than the misapplied 1302.

I was working HF with the TS2000 normally used for 2m and I was using CW breakin keying while working HK0NA DXpedition . This CAN NOT be done on 2m when using the preamp, because the 2m sequencer is not activated by the breakin keying. I have no idea at all ... but when I went to 2m last night with the breakin keying turned off, I found the 2m preamp was DOA. VERY ODD ....
