Putting a new call on the bands even with decent antennas didn't spell 
success. I heard rovers and DX that didn't hear us as far away as EM06 
in OK. Heard and worked very few Chicago stations. Heard more than I 
worked in that direction too. Many an hour it seemed like napping was 
more productive that listening to the small town birdies and hash, 
especially thick on 6m.
