Just got done checking with the 12 GHz + rated attenuators. I can still
detect the generator harmonic through the diode with a true 12.5 dB
added attenuation with the generator setting the same as was just
detectable with the bad FET, so I've improved it at least that much. And
that's through the relay.

I'll be reading RS forecasts from ZQ more often. I can buzz a mile or
two and have a good shot north. 9' corn makes shots out of the yard
tough. For north through NE I can just cross the road going south and
see over everything in a mile or two. A couple miles north and I can see
over everything for miles in all directions from rover antenna level.

Right now my inclination is that I might buzz up to Forest City early
Friday for the steam show first day, then come home mid afternoon. Then
join the rovers on Saturday, maybe Sunday. The rover group looked like
it needed more operators.

Looking for HP meter (like 400E or 204C audio oscillator) case parts.
One diecast side, one side panel, top and bottom. Picked up a 204C at
the Des Moines Hamfest missing those parts. Works OK.
