Whew! Thanks to K9JK's timely posting, I've now finished putting my log into
roverlog and will submit from the road shortly.

Grids activated: 8
Totals: 302 1398 65
Claimed Score: 90870
Highlights: Many that I hope to relate later. I got to my last grid (EN53)
at 1710. I made 38 Q's in the remaining 50 minuts--in a UHF contest! Even a
10G QSO with W9ZIH. You guys were hearing me off the sides on many of the
bands--kinda like having omni's :-) . MANY thanks to W0GHZ for loaning me a
10GHZ rig (that I let the wind blow over and break the feed :-( ) (still
made Q's by taping it into position.) Great fun working W9SNR/R and W0ZQ/R
for NEEDED grids (very non-trivial distances).
Lowlight: Low activity level. Many, Many fixed stations that should have
been on the air but weren't. Where was EN54 and EN64? Never worked Michigan
other than K2YAZ. Most years I pick up EN72/82. I probably should have done
more CQ'ing on 432. I did most of mine on 222 thinking the wider beamwidth
would help. But I forgot that MANY ops don't have 222. Lots of rain on
Saturday made things challenging.
I'm out driving across the Great Plains researching operating locations
along the 102nd Meridian for use next weekend in the Sept VHF contest.
Yes, Midwest Mania! '11 is a go! I'll make a separate posting about it.
