I am seeing some really nice June contest scores by club members! Post your scores on the reflector and don't forget to send them into the League with Northern Lights Radio Society as your affiliated club.

With the June contest over with, looking forward from here, here is a summertime calendar for you.

June 25/26      ARRL Field Day - good time to demo VHF
July 9          NLRS Breakfast - Richfield Old Country Buffet
July 16/17      CQWWVHF 6/2m only. Some fun operating classes for rover & portable
July 29/30      45th annual CSVHFS Conference - Irving, TX
August 6/7      ARRL UHF Contest & Rovermania !
August 13       NLRS Breakfast - Roseville Old Country Buffet
August 20/21    ARRL 10 GHz & Up Contest, 1st weekend
September 3     NLRS Breakfast - Richfield Old Country Buffet
September 10/11 ARRL September VHF Contest
September 17/18 ARRL 10 GHz & Up Contest, 2nd weekend


Myself, I have my eyes on the August UHF contest and Rovermania !   W0ZQ/R plans to be out and about with 222 through 10 GHz and I am looking forward to working anyone and everyone.  We could probably get permission for someone, or a group, to use Buck Hill again, if someone wants to organize a Multi-op or perhaps put on a SO .... if you have some interest in organizing such an effort, drop me a note.  There is equipment and antennas that can be loaned out from multiple sources.  We need to give W0AUS another good workout too !  I'd like to have someone to work while I'm out roving !
