Further to Doug's discovery of these items and sharing them with
the reflector.
They ARE viewable on Harbor Freight's web site:
30 Amp
http://www.harborfreight.com/30-amp-automotive-fuse-circuit-tester-67724.html
and the 20 Amp
http://www.harborfreight.com/20-amp-automotive-fuse-circuit-tester-67725.html
While they do look like 4-digit (or 3-1/2 digit?) displays, it
appears that only 3-digits are used, so resolution is 'only' 0.1
amps but they look like they are nicely packaged. I noted an
identification of the battery as an "A23 Alkaline" which is a
little 'unusual' and may be relatively 'pricey' to replace.
It ALSO appears that the 20 Amp version may have it's plug
portion sized for the "Mini-ATC" fuses and the 30 Amp version
plug portion is sized for the "Full Size ATC" fuses.
The price on the web is $9.99 each so that $7.99 price may be
local to stores in the Twin Cities area (but I *will* be
checking at my favorite HF in the Chicago area neck of the
woods!).
Disclaimer - I have no relation with Harbor Freight other than
as a (mostly) satisfied customer.
73, JK
