Hello NLRS land

I have received a few questions about how/where to send in logs for the ARRL 10 gig contest. First off, do not send them to me. My suggestions are for you to read the contest rules at http://www.arrl.org/10-ghz-up . After that, you can print out the paper summary and paper log forms at http://www.arrl.org/files/file/Contest%20Forms/10ghzfrm.pdf and http://www.arrl.org/files/file/Contest%20Logs/10ghzlog.pdf . Place the paper log and paper summary sheet in an envelope and snail mail to: ARRL Contest Branch, 225 Main St, Newington, CT 06111 .

You can do this electronically too. Note the following rules from the ARRL website:

8.2. Electronic entries must include the required information from the ARRL summary sheet (available online) completely filled out and a log file indicating band, date, time, call sign, the exchange information plus distance of contacts in km. The Cabrillo format is not required for the 10 GHz and Up Contest.
8.3. Logs must be submitted no later than 0000 UTC Tuesday, October 18, 2011.) Paper logs may be mailed to ARRL Contest Branch, 225 Main St, Newington, CT 06111. Electronic logs should be emailed to 10GHZ at arrl.org Incomplete or late logs may be classified as “check log.”

I wait until after the September event to send in a complete paper log that includes both weekends and with just one summary page.

73, Jon
