Hello NLRS land:
As a reminder, when logging a rover during any contest, make sure to indicate "rover" in your log with the /R .... as in "W0ZQ/R". The contest dupe checker will generate a logging error if you work W0ZQ/R and entered just W0ZQ in your log. W0ZQ does not equal W0ZQ/R. This is also true for rovers themselves. Rovers, make sure that your call that appears in your "Call Sent" and in your header file shows the slash R; example W0ZQ/R, not just W0ZQ. Also, remember to put in Northern Lights Radio Society for you club. Paper logs are OK too.
Here is an example from my log generated using RoverLog while I was in EN44:
QSO: 5.7G PH 2011-08-06 1807 W0ZQ/R EN44 N0KP EN34
QSO: 10G PH 2011-08-06 1811 W0ZQ/R EN44 N0KP EN34
QSO: 432 PH 2011-08-06 1814 W0ZQ/R EN44 W9FZ/R EN44
QSO: 432 PH 2011-08-06 1815 W0ZQ/R EN44 N0AKC EN44
QSO: 222 PH 2011-08-06 1815 W0ZQ/R EN44 W9FZ/R EN44
Second, and as a reminder, NLRS breakfast is this Saturday at the Old Country Buffet in Roseville. Full info can be found on our web site at http://www.nlrs.org/home/nlrs-breakfast or ask.
73, Jon
