Hello,
Maybe someone can save me an hour or two of searching
manually thru the NLRS email archives... if so, great.
I am looking for an excellent discussion of tropo by W0ZQ.
My memory is that I read it on this reflector and I'm guessing it
was back about 2005-2008.
If someone knows what I'm talking about, can they steer me to
that specific post? I intend to ask Jon for his permission to repost
it at kc9bqa.com. We have a lot of new ops who want to better
understand the nuances of enhanced propagation on VHF/UHF.
I imagine you fellows do, too.

Todd KC9BQA
PS: I doubt any NLRS members were going to the Southeast
VHF Society conference this weekend in Huntsville, Alabama.
But just in case, the conference is now canceled. Here's the full
scoop -- just came into the BC reflector.
"As a result of the severe storms experienced across the North
Alabama region on Wednesday evening, much of the area remains
without power. At 8:30 AM CDT the City of Huntsville Mayor
has requested the cancellation of events until such time as services
are restored and the city has recovered from the damage.
Additionally, the city has imposed a curfew from dusk to dawn.
The SVHFS Conference Committee has therefore canceled the
conference this weekend, and will make a determination regarding
the rescheduling of the conference to a future date. Any information
regarding the rescheduling of the conference will be posted on the
website, http://svhfs.org/ .
Stay Safe Everyone,
