Jon, I would definitely like to see someone in Burnett, Washburn,
Barron, and Rusk Counties. Never hear any activity from there. Also
Pierce, Pepin, and Buffalo closer to me.

I am the first to admit that I am not a big contester, but I enjoy
getting on and giving our Q's when I can.

I will say that the WIVUCH is the best thing to come along for the area
in my opinion. I know that I enjoy it, and give more of a reason to get
on and try and work stations, especially that the majority of time, the
only activity on VHF/UHF in our are is during contests, which is to bad.
I know of 2 locals here that got on for the first time because of the
WIVUCH program.

Anything that gets more people on is great. Its enjoyable and more
relaxed than HF contesting. Thanks to Todd, Bruce and who ever else
thought of the WIVUCH program.

On a last note, I know that the Counties program isn't for everyone, but
for those of us that are interested, and are getting on the air, I hope
that the Rovers are able to have an idea of the County they may be in if
they are asked.

One thought is to run with a pair of loops, 100 watts, and 224 horsepower, to visit EN35/45/34/44 and some Wisconsin counties. So my question is this - what northwest WI counties are guys still needed for WIVUCH ? Douglas and Bayfield may be a bit too far for this one, but maybe Burnett, Washburn, Sawyer and south of there? What you have to say may dictate if/where I go.
